Liebherr Construction Equipment Co.

The new R924 Compact Swing excavator is scheduled to make its debut at the 2009 World of Concrete trade show. This compact excavator belongs to a new generation of Liebherr machines. It features a newly developed Liebherr diesel engine D936S that meets the new Tier 3 noise and emissions regulations.

The Compact swing excavator is a full-size excavator (163 HP) in a compact body; it offers the practicality of a minimal tail-swing excavator while maintaining powerful performance. Its engine power guarantees getting the job done in all terrains and its less than 6' swing radius offers ideal maneuverability in confined spaces. Whether working on the side of a highway trying to keep congestion to a minimum or working in the city on narrow busy roads.

When equipped with Likufix - Liebherr's hydraulic quick-couple system - the R924 Compact Swing excavator performs the work of multiple machines, whether breaking concrete, grading, trenching or truck loading, all with a single machine. Likufix couples both the attachment and hydraulics, allowing the operator to quickly change from a simple backhoe bucket to a hydraulic hammer by only pressing a button - all without ever leaving the cab.

The R924 Compact Swing excavator is manufactured with original Liebherr components and fully equipped with the latest technology available for the construction industry. Available in multiple configurations depending on the type of application and customer needs.

The Operators' Precision Challenge will take place at the Gold Lot outside the Las Vegas Convention Center from Tuesday, Feb 3 to Friday, Feb 5, 2009. For more information visit: www.likufix-us.com.
